Bemidji Relay Team of Renn, Pollock to Compete at Boys’ Nordic Ski State Meet

Bemidji is sending a pair of Nordic skiers to the state meet. Seniors Levi Renn and Kaedon Pollock qualified for the team relay and are excited for the chance to compete one last time.

“It’s super special to me,” said Renn. “It’s always been kind of a goal and super special to go with Kaeden, obviously, just how we’ve been friends for a long time. We’ll have to race both races and really race hard and for each other.”

“I think we could do pretty well,” added Pollock. “I just hope we get out of the prelims and get to the finals and have a chance to place. That’d be pretty cool.”

“If we don’t, state was good enough,” he continued with a laugh. “I get to do it with my best friend, too, which is pretty cool and a fun way to wrap up the high school career.”

The schedule for the state meet has team relays set for Wednesday, Feb. 12th, with preliminary races at mid-day and the finals in the afternoon.
