Bemidji Lights The Night Blue

It’s common to see special 5k running and walking events throughout the summer, however last night in Bemidji was a first for the city. In this week’s Community Spotlight we highlight light the nation blue.

Coming up on September 11th are many activities where you can show your support. The blue line supporters will be hosting a law enforcement appreciation day at Stittsworth Meats from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 .pm., and the Bemidji Jaycees will host a pancake breakfast at fire department from 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Proceeds from both events will go to support the local fire department and law enforcement.
