Bemidji High School Gets National Attention


At Bemidji High School, there are lots of awards for athletics, but now a new academic award is also on the shelf. The school is receiving national attention as part of Newsweek’s top schools in the country for low-income students. Out of thousands of schools, Bemidji High School was ranked 412 on Newsweek’s list, beating the odds and closing the achievement gap at a high level. The rankings are based on test scores, graduation rates, and college prep, all categories Bemidji High School is excelling at.
