Bemidji Football Holds on to Babe’s Bell After 44-14 Blowout Over Brainerd

Bemidji and Brainerd football met on the gridiron Friday night for the annual Battle for Babe’s Bell and their 80th meeting since 1940.

The Lumberjacks defeated the Warriors 44-14 at home to hang on to the traveling trophy. The team later brought their celebration to the Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox statues in downtown Bemidji.
