Bemidji Fire Department Responds to Irvine Avenue House Fire

The Bemidji Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the city of Bemidji at 8:38 p.m. April 20, which was located in the 3900 block of Irvine Avenue N.W.

Bemidji Firefighters arrived on scene to find a fire located inside the back of the house and quickly contained and extinguished the fire. Sixteen firefighters used three fire engines and one support vehicles on the scene.

No injuries were reported. The fire department was on scene approximately three hours. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Bemidji Fire Department and an estimated loss was not available at the time of this press release.

The fire department was assisted at the scene by the Bemidji Police Department, Bemidji Ambulance Service, Minnesota Energy Resources, and Ottertail Power.
