Bemidji Celebrates National Night Out

It’s National Night Out day and the Bemidji community is sure not to miss it.

More than 500 residents came together to meet-and-greet local law enforcement officers at both St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and the Boys and Girls Club of Bemidji.

Especially with recent events surrounding police brutality and rising crime rates, this year’s event is even more so heartfelt for unity.

National Night Out was created 33 years ago to strengthen police and community relationships, boost crime prevention and foster a strong community spirit.
