If you like Bemidji State baseball, you’ll enjoy the Bemidji Bucks. Eleven current and three former Beavers play ball for the Minnesota Baseball Association’s Class B Bucks. Bemidji State Assistant coach Scott Seaton keeps a close eye on his players as the Bucks’ manager.  Seaton sets his early focus on the mound.

So far, the Bucks pitchers show signs of improvement by surrendering only 4.75 runs per game. That number is less than half of the 10.34 earned run average of the 2015 Beavers pitching staff.

The Bucks’ wooden bats have produced as much as the Beavers’ metal  bats.  Bemidji state averaged 5.34 runs per game while the Bucks rake in 5.75 runs per game.   The players hope to increase that number. The Bucks also plan to enjoy the summer season, and they would like the fans to follow suit.
