Bemidji Brewing Wins at World Beer Cup as it Nears Expansion

Exciting times for Bemidji’s only brewery – Bemidji Brewing wins an international award for their German Blonde craft beer, and they are about a month away from relocation to a larger space.

Bemidji Brewing’s German Blonde wins bronze in the Golden or Blonde Ale category at the 2016 World Beer Cup, for many, it’s known as the “Olympics of the beer world.”

The new brewhouse and taproom will increase their barrel system from 3 to 15, increasing production size. In addition to that, there will be an open patio, a kitchen serving light snacks and also a large window where customers can view the brewing process.

They are expecting to relocate in June, by 3rd St. and America Ave. NW.
