One look around the pool shows that the Bemidji swimming and diving team is fresh, and it’s not the smell of the chlorine. Bemidji only names one senior on the roster.
Along with several new swimmers, a new coach also gives the Lumberjacks a fresh perspective.
Nyle Relay served as an assistant coach last season before taking the reins this season
Bemidji returns two swimmers from last year’s Class A state meet, juniors Nate Gubbels and Wyatt Yartz.
The upperclassmen and Relay encourage the underclassmen to fine tune their technique and swim smarter, rather than harder.
