Bemidji Area Schools Receives Feedback on Money-Saving Efforts

Although Bemidji area schools are now out of session, the district is still working to solve their budget crisis, but they want feedback from the community first.

The district sent out a survey to community stakeholders to get their opinions on cost-saving options the district should look into. The survey asked for feedback on increasing class sizes, increasing activity feeds, cutbacks on programs, and the district going out for another operating referendum.

Bemidji Area Schools has received over 3,000 survey responses so far and will be meeting next week to discuss the results.
