Beltrami County resident wins big

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – According to a press release from the Minnesota Lottery, Alexis Lien of Bemidji won $20,000 playing the Minnesota Vikings game. Lien claimed the prize on Sept. 27, 2016. Holiday Station stores Inc., 414 Paul Bunyan Drive S.E. in Bemidji, sold the winning ticket.

Minnesota wins:

  • Lottery players have won more than $6.5 billion. All Minnesotans are winners because more than $2.6 billion in lottery proceeds have helped our state—more than $1 billion has helped preserve, restore and protect Minnesota’s environment in each of the 87 counties and almost $1.5 billion has helped fund state programs including education, public safety and health & human services.
