Beltrami County has reported its first COVID-19 related death. The individual, who was in their 90s, had been hospitalized for a while prior to the death.

Since March, Beltrami County has had a cumulative COVID-19 case total of 275. As of today, there are 19 active cases with two people hospitalized. Cases in the county have decreased in the last week.

The Minnesota Department of Health reported 567 new coronavirus cases and six new deaths from the virus today, including the death from Beltrami County.
