Awareness Walk For Missing Brainerd Man Marc Welzant

Today marks the one-year anniversary of the disappearance of Marc Welzant. Marc disappeared in two thousand fourteen on a Sunday afternoon after leaving his group home. He was forty-seven years old at the time. His family is still looking for answers.

This weekend Marc’s family and friends participated in a walk to raise awareness that he is still missing. They walked for two miles and retraced the route that is believed to be what Marc took the day he disappeared. It started from his group home; it stopped at the holiday gas station on South sixth street, and ended at Kiwanis Park

So far the police department has not had any promising leads in the investigation and are no closer to finding Marc than they were when he went missing last fall.
