Autopsy Results Reveal Cause of BSU Students Death

The Bemidji Police Department has released the preliminary autopsy results in the death of Sandra Lommen. The preliminary autopsy results indicate that the 20-year-old died due to the exposure of hypothermic conditions and that the cause was ruled accidental. Early reports say she smelled of alcohol when police found her unconscious in the woods last week, but ultimately hypothermia was the cause of death. Authorities say they do not have any new updates regarding who might have supplied Lommen with the alcohol. The case remains under investigation as the Bemidji Police Department continues to collect information regarding Lommen’s death.
