Authorities Seek Public Help Following Fire

The Brainerd police department wants the public to help in finding a suspicious individual following a structure fire.

They say a man was seen running from the scene, in the 900 block of 9th Avenue, on Sunday.

Police responded to an explosion at a garage that was detached from a house. It was quickly put out with no injuries reported.

Police say the man has sandy brown hair, was not wearing a shirt at the time of the incident and has a large tattoo of a cross on his back.
