Authorities in Canada-bordering Koochiching County said four people were arrested early Sunday in Pelland, just west of International Falls. Authorities were seeking 28-year-old Justin Jensen and 33-year-old Natasha Brandenburger, both of Maple Lake after the teenager was hospitalized last week.

19- year- old Cheyenne Clough was found severely beaten last Wednesday in Crow Springs County Park in Wright County. She died over the weekend, leaving behind a 3-year-old son.

The two other Wright County individuals were arrested near the Canadian border were Callie Lynn Anderson and Shawn Benson.

A Koochiching County official also says that a local man, Thomas Nicholson, was arrested and is being held on obstructing the legal process.

A sixth person, 26-year-old Edward Zelko, was arrested earlier in a traffic stop near Staples.

While no one has yet been charged directly in relation to Clough’s death, the six are currently being held for offenses ranging from weapons possession, drug possession and aiding an offender.

Authorities are continuing to search for a vehicle in connection to the case. It is described as a 2008 white Honda Accord with Iowa license plate number AXK-248. Anyone with information is asked to call the Wright County Sheriff’s Office at 763-682-1162.
