Apartments May Serve Bemidji’s Homeless

A $10.8 million apartment complex that will serve the homeless could be on its way to Bemidji.

The process has been three years in the making as Center City Housing Corporation in Duluth has worked to find the funding and land to provide the local homeless population with assistance.

The facility promises assistance in a number of areas, as a 24-hour staff will help chronic inebriates who want the assistance become sober. They also can help people find a physician for their health needs.
