Affinity Plus Raises Thousands For Education

The Affinity Plus Foundation raised thousands of dollars for community and cultivator grants in Minnesota last week, according to a news release from the Affinity Plus Foundation.

Over $27,000 was raised from November 3rd-7th, for the 14th Silent Auction held by the Affinity Plus Foundation. The proceeds will become grants which will go to educators, education, and other support for financial literacy, according to the release.

Amy Hanson, the foundation executive director reported that there were nearly 3,000 online bids placed on 545 baskets or items. According to the release, bids came from all over Minnesota, Arizona, California and Missouri.

To date, the Affinity Plus Foundation has awarded over $70,000 in grants, according to the release.

The next Silent Auction will be held online November 10th-13th, 2017.
