A piece of Hollywood makes its way to Brainerd

For decades Hollywood has mastered the art of deception. Now some of that deception has made it’s way to Brainerd. Last week the Brainerd Police says they’ve had eight incidences of people trying to use Hollywood prop money as real money.
The counterfeit $100 dollar bills at first glance look pretty similar to the new $100 dollar bills. However, Hollywood made it easy for Brainerd police to figure out they aren’t real. There are 7 locations where it says “For Motion Picture Use Only”, Benjamin Franklin’s mouth is different, on the back “The United States of America” is switch with another “For Motion Picture Use Only” and “Dollars” is left out from “One Hundred Dollars”.
The next time you get a new one hundred dollar bill take a second before putting it in your wallet, to make sure it isn’t for motion picture use only.
