Bemidji Goes Blue For Law Enforcement

Drive around Bemidji and you may notice a sea of blue. Blue ribbons have been popping up all over town.

With the tragic events of last week regarding civilians and law enforcement, Bemidji woke up earlier this week to blue ribbons tied around trees, streetlights, fences, and park benches all showing support for law enforcement.

The ribbons were placed around town anonymously.

Other signs of support have appeared in neighborhoods with signs and blue- and- black flags hanging on houses.

Last week a local flower shop collected donations and delivered dozens of floral arrangements to the law enforcement center.
