Baxter, Minn., – Two drivers and a passenger were injured in a rear- end crash that included five vehicles last Wednesday on highways 210 and 371.

The incident was reported at 1:08 p.m. The Baxter Police Department also reported that all the vehicles involved were westbound on Highway 210.

Benjamin James Schmidt, 34, Brainerd, was one of the drivers and was transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health – St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.

Another driver, Paul Charles Howes, 56, Nevis, also was injured but did not need to be transported by an ambulance. A passenger in one of the vehicles, James Michael Arrigoni, 85, Staples, was also injured but did not require an ambulance.

Other drivers who were involved but not injured were Ronald Dean Heins, Aitkin, Kenneth Blaine Cleveland, Motley, and Julie Christine Wilson, Aitkin.
