30,000 Attend Brainerd’s Fourth of July Parade

Parades are a Fourth of July tradition. They’re a chance to showcase our heritage, our passions and our heroes while families come together as one giant community. And the Brainerd Fourth of July parade excels at all of that.

This year an estimated 30,000 people lined the streets from Brainerd High School across downtown and to Kiwanis Park. Prizewinning entrants were the Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge, Mills Commercial Boat Float and the Brainerd High School Marching Band. And after the parade the night was capped off with a bang as the fireworks lit the sky above Brainerd High School.
