Stewart Mills Fund Raising Event

The primaries are over. Now it’s time for the campaign race to November’s general election. This evening Republican Congressional candidate Stewart Mills hosted a private fund raising event at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa with special guest House Speaker John Boehner.
Mills told us his family has a cabin doctrine, which requires anyone who complains about something to step up and fix it. He says he recently told his family he thought he could serve Minnesota’s 8th District in Washington better than Congressman Rick Nolan.
Mills points out Nolan’s campaign has raised a large amount of money for his campaign. The Federal Election Commission says Nolan’s campaign has raised just under $40,000 less than Mills before today. And Martin would like to see money taken out of politics.
Both campaigns told us both candidates look forward to spending most of their time getting out in public to talk with the voters.
