2014 Citizen of the Year Kevin Dens

Local dentist and community leader Dr. Kevin Dens is the 2014 Citizen of the Year. Dens was surprised with the award this morning during a Baxter Kiwanis meeting.
Dens has lived in the Brainerd Lakes Area for over 25 years. He’s been a part of Brainerd’s and Baxter Kiwanis Clubs and he’ll be the head of the Minnesota Dental Association in 2016-17. He says he likes being involved in the community and has enjoying having both friends and mentors win this award before him.
Dens’ staff says they love working with him and he’s very deserving of this honor.
Not only is Dens a staple in the community he’s also offered free dental work for veterans. Dens says this award won’t change how he lives and he’ll continue to give back any way he can.
