20 for 20: Olympic Connection (2018)

To celebrate our 20th anniversary of Lakeland News, we’re taking a look back at some of the memorable local stories we’ve covered over the years. We’re calling it 20 For 20 – twenty stories in all, one for each of the twenty years we’ve been on the air with Lakeland News.

We wrapped our 20 For 20 series up last week with a look back at the year 2017, but we’ve decided to include one bonus story for the 2018 – which is almost over now! The U.S. Men’s Olympic Curling Team made history last February when it won the gold medal in South Korea, and the team included two players with local connections. Our Josh Peterson brought us their story, and Josh continues to provide compelling stories for Lakeland News in his hometown of Bemidji.
