2 Killed In Early-Morning Helicopter Crash In Brainerd

Two people were killed in an early-morning helicopter crash at the Brainerd Regional Airport on Friday.

According to North Memorial Health, the crash involved one of its helicopters and happened around 1:00 a.m. Friday. A pilot and nurse are dead and another crew member was injured. No patients were onboard.

The injured crew member was brought to St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.
