He may not be able to drive on the highway, but 13 year-old Nathan Sletto tears up the race track.

The Brandon, Minnesota native races his outlaw batwing mini-mod Sundays at the Bemidji Speedway.

Sletto does more than just race. He wins.  The young speedster stands only two points out of first place for the season total.  48 year-old Kelly Steele remains just ahead.

Sletto runs a 600 cc crotch-rocket motor and can reach speeds up to 70 miles per hour in the straightaway.

Yes, his parents know about it, and they love watching him dominate in his number three car.
