Two- Vehicle Crash In Pillager Seriously Injures Corcoran Woman

A trailer filled with farm equipment was struck on Thursday and seriously injured a motorist near Pillager.

According to the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office, they received a report around 9:36 a.m. of a two-vehicle crash about two miles south of Pillager on Dove Road in Rosing Township.

The sheriff’s Office says that 76- year- old Peter Peterson, of Pine River, was traveling south on Dove Road in a 2006 Dodge Ram truck pulling a trailer full of farm equipment. 51- year- old Dianna Lindgren, of Corcoran, was traveling north on Dove Road in a 2002 Saturn sedan. The investigation says that Lindgren’s vehicle crossed over the centerline and struck Peterson’s vehicle. Firefighters with Pillager Fire and Rescue extricated Lindgren out of the vehicle. North Memorial Air Care transported Lindgren to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.

Lindgren’s vehicle was totaled and Peterson was not injured but his vehicle sustained moderate damage.

The case remains under investigation.Pil
