Two Men Charged In Grand Rapids Home Invasion

Two men have been charged in Itasca County Court for a home invasion on August 3rd.

The Itasca County Attorney John J. Muhar says that 28- year- old Zachary Walter Cary, of Cloquet, Minnesota, and 19- year- old Edward Wade Fauth, of Grand Rapids, appeared in Itasca County District Court Friday. Cary is charged with one count of Aggravated Robbery in the First Degree, one count of Burglary in the First Degree and one count of Aggravated Witness Tampering in the First Degree. Fauth is charged with one count of Aggravated Robbery in the First Degree and one count of Burglary in the First Degree.

The charges stem from allegations that Cary and Fauth planned and participated in a home invasion at a residence in Grand Rapids, Minnesota on August 3.

At the recommendation of the prosecutor, the court set bail for Cary and Fauth in the amount of $200,000 without conditions or $100,000 with conditions. Cary’s and Fauth’s next court appearance is set for August 8, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
