Two Logging Trucks Collide And Spill Logs In Crosslake Area

Update:  September 27th, at 3:24 P.M.

A crash involving two logging trucks took place on Monday around 1:10 P.M. near the intersection of County Road 1 and Swanburg Road.

63-year-old Richard Christopherson of Brainerd and 55-year-old Timothy Fiene of Pine River were involved in the incident.  Fiene received medical attention for minor injuries.

The semi-truck and both trailers were overturned at the scene.

The Crow Wing County Sherrif’s Office recieved help on scene from Crosslake Police Department, Pequot Lakes Police Department, North Ambulance, Ideal Fire Department, and the Minnesota State Patrol.

The crash is still under investigation.
