Structure Fire in Bemidji

Bemidji Fire Department officials responded to a structure fire on Monday evening in town. Authorities visited the 900 block of Dewey Avenue NE at about 6:45 p.m. and found a fire in the back of a home.

Officials were able to contain and extinguish the fire with only minor damage. There were no injuries recorded in this incident.

Crews were on the scene for about two hours. The fire is still under investigation, but the Bemidji Fire Department said in a press release that this one appeared to be accidental in nature.
