Sanford Bemidji Medical Center Expands Nursery
Big changes are underway on the third floor of Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. The new 10 room nursery, which is expected to be completed by the end of the year is all part of a response in the changing needs of Sanford’s patients.
One of the reasons Sanford Health is expanding the nursery is because of the number of drug exposed newborns has increased.
The third floor will consist of 10 unit private care nursery; it moves the pediatric patient rooms as well as the nursing station. Then, next year an O.B. operating room will be added to the floor.
