Relay For Life Nears Its Goal

Hundreds gathered on Saturday to work together and raise money to help find a cure for cancer and help those who are currently battling .

Money from the event is spent here locally to help build a support system and network of resources that are made available to those fighting cancer and those have survived.

Thirty teams participated in this year’s Relay For Life at the Sanford Center. The goal for the event was set at $101,000, of which $90,000 already had been raised near the end of the night Saturday.
