Police Seek Help Following Hit-and-Run

Authorities are looking for help in locating the driver who struck and killed a 10-year-old girl last week in the Mille Lacs Lake area.

Just before 8 p.m. on Friday, Caylin Donovan walked to the end of a driveway and onto Highway 18 in order to get a better phone signal when a vehicle made contact. Several passing drivers stopped to help but were unable to find a pulse. She died at the scene.

The Minnesota State Patrol says anyone who was in the Mille Lacs Lake area between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on June 10 should call Lt. Adam Fulton at (218)316-3025.
