Paul Bunyan Park To Be Temporarily Closed Monday

Paul Bunyan Park including the parking lot and trail will be closed on Monday, August 15th to all traffic and park users – both motorized and non-motorized (bicycles, pedestrians).

The closure includes the trail adjacent to 197 from the Mississippi Bridge to north of 3rd Street.  The trails and parking lot will be sealcoated beginning Monday morning.  The sealcoating could take up to 24 hours to completely dry and the park and trails will remain closed to ensure safety and quality.  There will be signage at each of the trail and parking lot entrances/exits.

Paul and Babe and the Tourist Information Center will be pedestrian accessible through the concrete plaza at 3rd Street -all other facilities including the Rotary Pavilion and Playground will be inaccessible until Tuesday morning.
