Nymore Dog Park Opens to Crowd of Canines

Dogs in Bemidji have a new place to run free. The Nymore Dog Park officially opened today for the public and their pets with a ribbon cutting ceremony. A crowd of canines of all shapes and sizes came to break in the new 2-acre park. The new park features a large dog area and a small dog area so pets of all sizes can socialize off leash. Committee members say what’s good for the pets is good for the owners, and they hope the new park will be an attractive feature for traveling pets too. The dog park committee raised around $15,000 to build the park. They hope to add more agility obstacles and other amenities in the future.
