New Critical Habitat License Plates To Be Unveiled Friday

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the public Safety and Corrections will be unveiling a design for a new critical habitat license plate on Friday. The image for the wild turkey plate is from the 2016 wild turkey stamp. Motorist who choose the critical habitat plates will have to pay an additional $30- per-year fee.

Funds from the sale of the plates will be used to help the DNR provide matching dollars to purchase land for the survival of plants and animals in Minnesota.
