Missing Minnesota Teens Found

Two missing northern Minnesota teenagers were found over the weekend.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office says 17-year-old girls Jordan Lorraine Krolak and Casey Louise Danielson were located on Saturday in Grand Forks, N.D.

They both were both reported missing on June 5 after disappearing from the Northwestern Minnesota Juvenile Center in Bemidji. Krolak is from Karlstad, Minn., while Danielson is originally from Bigfork, Minn.

Posters and calls for help have been shared on social media in the last month. On a Facebook page dedicated to finding the two girls, Danielson’s parents said their daughter has a history of running from home.

“We, her parents, and numerous others have been trying to help her gain control of high risk decision making,” Rob and Richie Danielson said. “We love her, just like your parents love you. Don’t encourage a destructive path to your friends.”

“It is very upsetting not knowing if you’re OK,” said Krolak’s mother, Barb Wojciechowski, on July 3. “Please honey, don’t run anymore. You have a whole life ahead of you. Make the right decision and come home.”

Authorities say they will send out more information via a press release in the coming days.
