Madden’s Resort Long-Time President to Retire

Brainerd, Minn.,- Long-time President Brian Thuringer announced his retirement from Madden’s on Gull Lake, an award-winning resort and vacation destination.

Thuringer will transition to chairman of the board and will withdraw from property responsibilities. Abbey (Thuringer) Pieper will continue the role of treasurer and chief sales. Ben Thuringer will lso continues as the managing director and chief operating officer.

“My brother Ben and I are very excited for our father to be taking this huge step in his career,” says Pieper.

Madden’s on Gull Lake will close in late October for for the 2016 season. It will re-open for its 2017 season in April.
