The Baby Boomers generation began turning 65 in 2011 and now, according to the U.S. Census, it is projected that more than 20 percent of the total U.S. Population will be over the age of 65 by 2029. Yet, it has also been reported that 55 percent of Americans die without a will or estate plan.
On this episode of Lakeland Currents we’ll discuss Wills and Estate Planning with Ron Carpenter, a Bemidji attorney who has been in private practice since 1973 with an emphasis on Estate Planning and Real Estate Law. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association in the Elder Law Section and Real Property Law Section and is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
