Jacks Hope To Take Step Forward In Peterson’s Second Season

After a successful inaugural campaign under first-year head coach Travis Peterson last year, the Lumberjacks say they’re looking to take another step forward this season. The Jacks want to prove that last season was no fluke. And the next step for them includes some pretty big goals for the team this season.

Returning seven seniors from last year’s team, Peterson plans to lean heavily on his three captains Caden Rolfes, Nate Snell and Caleb Carlson. But with numerous players returning with varsity experience, he says he expects everyone to contribute. And despite being a little undersized the Jacks plan to open things up on the court this season; beginning with a suffocating defense that turns in to a high powered, fast tempo offense.
