Houston Gunman Stopped By Police

HOUSTON – At 8:05 this morning, the Houston police reported a shooting at a strip mall where nine people would ultimately be wounded.

45 minutes later it was then reported that the gunman was shot dead by police.

According to the Associated Press, “Police said via Twitter Monday that an “active shooter at Weslayan & Bissonnet has been shot by our officers” and that there are no reports of other suspects ‘at this time’.”

The gunman was a lawyer. The motive behind the attack is still being investigated, but is believed that his relationship with his law firm went bad.

This attack is only more than a week away from the Sept. 17 incident at the Crossroads Center Mall in Minnesota, where a man attacked and stabbed 10 people before an off-duty police officer shot him.
