Grand Rapids High School Set to Unveil New Logo in August
GRAND RAPIDS- On August 4th, student athletes will be the first to experience the new identity of the Thunderhawk Logo.
The new logo will strive to define the Thunderhawk brand and inspire the community.
Stated in a release, “Our Thunderhawks are fierce, proud, and strong,” said Anne Campbell, GRHS Activities Director. “The new logo reflects that and will inspire students, athletes, and our community.”
“It’s hard to believe that we have been Thunderhawks for 21 years, during that time we found that our community has often asked the question ‘What is a Thunderhawk?’ and the answer to that question has escaped many,” said Greg Spahn, GRHS Head Football Coach.
Members of the athletic department, administration, coaching staff, and students were involved in the conversation of creating the new logo and providing feedback for the final design.
