Governor Dayton Issues Executive Order For Our States Honeybees

Governor Mark Dayton issued an executive order limiting certain pesticides that harm the Minnesota declining honeybee population. According to advocates this is an important step that positions the state as a leader in protecting the insects that are critical to the nations food supply through their pollination.  Governor Dayton made the announcement at the Minnesota State Fair. He stressed the importance of the states pollinators to the states $90 billion agriculture sector.
