Gary Griffin Reappointed As County Assessor

The Crow Wing County Board reappointed Gary Griffin as county assessor on Tuesday.

The county assessor term will be for four- years and is one of three county positions that require appointment per state law. His main responsibilities as county assessor will be to assess the value of property in the county and classify property by its use.

Griffin appointment does not guarantee that he will hold the position for the complete four years. However, there would be a need of just cause for him to be removed from the position.
