15 grams of Methamphetamine seized, thanks to public involvement reporting suspicious activity.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office responded to Sage Road, in Mt. Morris Township by Hillman Wednesday evening approximately 9:44p.m, for a suspicious activity complaint. When deputies arrived and located a vehicle stuck on the west side of Sage Road in a wooded area. Two people were found near the vehicle. During the initial investigation the parties were acting suspicious and were not cooperative.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 42-year-old Vicki Daufelt, of Elk River was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Wright County for a drug related offense. Located in Vicki Daufelt’s purse was 4.8 grams of methamphetamine. Also arrested was 42-year-old Brandon Daufelt from Elk River, for aiding an offender and obstructing legal process.

A search warrant was executed on the vehicle. Approximately 11.66 grams of methamphetamine was located and seized. The case has been forwarded to the County Attorney’s Office pending preparation of formal charges.
