Deceased Body Found In Rural Deer River

On Sunday the Itasca County Sheriff Office’s along with the Grand Rapids and Deer River Police Departments investigated a stolen vehicle and missing person case. During the course of the investigation, a deceased body of an adult male was found in rural Deer River in Itasca County. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of family members. The body of the victim will be taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
