Officials Request Crow Wing County Be Declared A State of Emergency

According to a press release from the Crow Wing County Sheriffs Office; the Crow Wing County Sheriffs Division of Emergency Management requested the Chairman of the Crow Wing County Board Doug Houge to sign a resolution declaring Crow Wing County in a State of Emergency. Currently the preliminary damage assessments and cost of public infrastructure as of this morning are at $333,000. Current roads closed are County Road 101 and Spruce Road. So far there have been no reports of residents not being able to get to and from their homes in those areas.
