Crow Wing County Board Approves Annexation of Unorganized Territory

Because of its location the Crow Wing County Board has decided to annex a neighborhood that is currently in unorganized territory. Many of the residents hoping to stop the annexation offered to do the road maintenance themselves. The board acknowledges that residents are angry that the annexation will increase their taxes.

Most of the residents were too upset to appear on camera. However, Whispering Woods Lane Resident Rick Olson did release a statement to us that stated “we are really disappointed with the decision that was made today”.
