Community Spotlight: Exploring the Outdoors

A summer camp program is giving kids a chance to learn more about the environment that surrounds them.

The Mississippi Headwaters Audubon Society has put on their day camp for over 20 years now, serving about 70 kids a summer.

Games, hikes and learning are wrapped into one as kids find out how to identify plants and animals. They even get the chance to eat some of the edible plants they find.
